Acupuncture can be very effective for fibromyalgia treatment as it provide relief of the pain associated with fibro. While pain is one of the main symptoms of fibro it is not the only one so make sure you are avoiding heavy lifting when possible and getting a good night sleep as often as you can to maximize the effect of the acupuncture.
References :
http://www.fibromyalgiasource.com

been there, done that--did nothing for me

it maybe possible if they use the right technique--the one I went to turned out to be a quack--i don't think he was treating it as teh Neurological condition it is...

if you want to try out--be sure to ask what the treatment does exactly--

treatment should focus on regulating the Central Nervous System

the most promising treatments are neuro in nature--Lyrica, Cymbalta-

vitamins, diet, NSAIDS, etc. will not help REAL FMS
References :
for some people it is effective, not everything works for everyone. some people find relief by doing water aerobics, some by switching to a low carb diet or organic foods, some do elimination diets to find foods that they are sensitive too. You can search those online. You may just have to try different things and find what works for you.
References :
I had good results with a topical (prescription) cream called Diprolene for the eczema on my hands. That along with Curel (original formula and Not the unscented as has funny scent ;) hand and body moisturizer helps to maintain it for me. It's not irritating.
References :
I recommend you call my friend Dr. Dana Winegarner and his staff at Mid-America Neuroscience Institute. They would be more than willing to talk with you. Headache triggers and causes can be so interesting. I am including a link to his site. Even if you aren't in their geography you should call or email.
References :
http://www.neurokc.com/practiceareas.aspx?pgID=874

Depends what country you from? Oilatum is brilliant for me, its a moisturer and it does NOT grease you up, also as a small anti inflammatory get hydrocortizone 1% cream, it will thin layers from your skin if used WAY too much, but that is your safest steroid based cream, ive had ezcema on my face all my life and i use the weakest on my face and the stongest steriod based creams on my arms, as its weak you can get it without persciption, im from the UK just immigrated to the United States, and i know that countries have these.
References :
I have found that I always get a hangover feeling and headaches the next day after a migraine. I take it easy that day and have a few regular Tylenol or whatever we have. Lots of water is good too as it will flush your system and hydrate you. If its really bad I will also ice the back of my neck.
